Application for Educational Assistance
Scholarships are potentially available to those individuals pursuing continuing education, internships or mission-related training. It is intended for assistance for fees incurred for tuition, textbooks, and/or living expenses related to such education.
Pre-requisite for scholarship:
- Completed Scholarship Application
- Cover letter
- Confirmation of enrollment and acceptance in the program/school/course
- Confirmation that student has met all program requirements for attendance
Scholarships are based on the following criteria:
- Number of applications for sponsorship
- Documented Student Need
- Meeting the requirements for scholarship (applicant will be sent record keeping specifics if their scholarship has been approved)
To apply scholarship, please do the following:
- Complete the scholarship application. (Link to application)
- Submit with the application:
- Cover letter describing why the need and desire for the program.
- Confirmation of enrollment and acceptance in the program/school/course
- Confirmation that the student has met all program requirements for attendance.

Incomplete application packets received will be rejected upon receipt.
The World Rescue Worker’s, Inc. will identify qualified candidates to go through the selection process.
All submitted applications will be reviewed in consideration for a scholarship. Applications should be submitted 45 days prior to the start of the program/course. All completed applications will be considered by the board at the next scheduled quarterly meeting. Emergency need of less than $1,000 in assistance may be considered and granted by the Board President outside the normally scheduled meeting.
