The 2024 Singing Christmas Tree (SCT) title is “Blue Christmas”.

God loves a humble hero, one who doesn’t brag, who has a servant’s heart and helps people not because it’s in a job description, but simply, because it is the right thing to do. Officer Kyle Blue is a police officer in Anytown, USA.  He is a good husband, father, and he loves his job, Jesus, and his community and not necessarily in that order. Officer Blue and the rest of the community are preparing for Christmas like any other small town in America. Kyle is doing a little extra this Christmas like he usually does to help out his wife, his family, and the rest of the townspeople. But no one seems to be saying thank you or recognizing the extra effort, until during Christmas Eve choral practice, a call comes out over the police radio, “officer down!”. As the townspeople and Kyle’s family rush to the emergency room to make sure he’s OK, they discover all the wonderful things that Kyle has done and does to help out his fellow town folk. Prayers are answered and Kyle is OK and wants to go home for Christmas but unfortunately that is just not going to happen this Christmas Eve. Can the townsfolk along with the Pastor and the choir director and all the wonderful first responders and hospital staff turn a hospital waiting room into a wonderful Christmas for Officer Blue as they remember the true meaning of Christmas in keeping the Christ in Christmas?

Serving Hearts Production is a group of people who desire to keep the Singing Christmas Tree message, production and ministry alive. We want to create productions that provide opportunities to strengthen the faith community. We plan to create additional musical production opportunities beyond the Singing Christmas Tree as well.
