Ted Burdine, President & CEO
Ted Burdine, President & CEO of the faith-based nonprofit organization, The World’s Rescue Workers, has the responsibility of overseeing all facets of the organization. He drives the mission, vision, values, fundraising, operations and engagement with the Board of Directors. Educationally, he has a Bachelor’s Degree from Sacramento State University and a Master’s Degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix, Sacramento campus. Ted has over 40 years in Information Technology with companies in San Francisco, Santa Clara and Folsom, CA. He managed many teams in these companies with a focus on physical security, personal development and promotion. Ted served for 10 years on the Board of Directors of a local nonprofit organization that focused on transforming lives and communities for Christ.
Ted has a passion for excellence, quality, accomplishment, and a heart to see people become better tomorrow than they have been today. He is Vice President of Integrity Ventures Corporation, INC., that focuses on land and construction development. Ted, along with his wife Dee, have led outreach ministries to the homeless in the Sacramento area for over 30 years. They continue to work with several local nonprofit organizations in monthly feeding programs and annual “street fair” outreaches to the homeless. Ted and Dee are members of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) and serve as legislative liaisons for their Congressional District. Ted and Dee are proud parents of six grown children and are blessed to have several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carol Dian “Dee” Burdine, Vice President
Dee Burdine, Vice-President of the faith-based nonprofit organization, The World’s Rescue Workers (TWRW), has the responsibility of partnering with Ted on all facets of the organization. Her concentration is on operations, vision casting, and future operations of TWRW. Her career in Program & Project Management, Business Management, and Accounting has developed skills supporting these duties. Dee holds a Business Administration BBE degree. This education, together with her career, has enabled Dee to develop and lead outreach activities and events for over 30 years. The passion to develop help for Homeless and under-served people has given her the determination to implement events from monthly Breakfast to the Streets, annual Rise and Shine Street Fairs, annual Christmas to the Streets Fair and multiple amazing VIP Banquets.
From Outreach Coordinator to the Homeless, President of a small business, Integrity Ventures, Inc., and working with Christians United for Israel, Dee has endeavored to keep the main focus of life to be following the call of Jesus to help people find and develop a personal relationship with Jesus and follow the call to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem….” ; loving whom Jesus loved.
Ted and Dee feel their most precious achievement is the blessing of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They enjoy watching them grow, learning to follow their core values, and developing hearts which turn toward God and compassionate service toward their fellowman.
Dee Burdine and Patricia Del Marmol are the outreach coordinators representing TWRW. They are focusing on new and additional ways that TWRW can help the local communities and their needs.
Joe Del Marmol holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer. Joe is a member of the California State Bar and retired in 2021 after practicing law since 1997. He previously was in law enforcement for 30 years serving 26 years with the California Highway Patrol and 4 years as an investigator with the California Department of Insurance Fraud Division. He holds a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the California State University at Sonoma, and a Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School. He served honorably in the United States Air Force Reserve and the United States Coast Guard Reserve. He retired from his military service in 1991. He and his wife Pat are members of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) and serve as legislative liaisons for their Congressional District.
Lena and John Rohrabaugh lead the World’s Rescue Workers Healing Hands Ministry. They have over 60 years of combined healthcare experience with a focus on 911 service management, emergency response and healthcare education. Their acts of volunteerism have included CPR training for faith-based entities, public education and non-profit programs, creation of a paramedic program in underserved rural area, financial support for disaster response and healthcare for resource limited regions.
Jim and Janet Eilering currently lead the Community Outreach Ministry. They have been helping serve the homeless community in the Sacramento, California area for nearly 20 years. Serving for approximately 15 of those years on the executive team for the spring and fall annual homeless outreaches supported by TWRW. In early 2019 they became the Community Outreach Coordinators for TWRW. Most recently they have been overseeing two annual events, the Rise and Shine Fair in the spring and Christmas to the Streets in the fall, as well as working to build a team that will help plan, support, oversee and work these events. They are passionate about researching and connecting with other local organizations that support the homeless that can give them a true hands up approach to their needs. Currently they are also connecting with Sacramento Valley Teen Challenge to help plan the implementation of a project to help advance their programs.
