Carol Dian “Dee” Burdine, Vice President

Dee Burdine, Vice-President of the faith-based nonprofit organization, The World’s Rescue Workers (TWRW), has the responsibility of partnering with Ted on all facets of the organization. Her concentration is on operations, vision casting, and future operations of TWRW. Her career in Program & Project Management, Business Management, and Accounting has developed skills supporting these duties. Dee holds a Business Administration BBE degree. This education, together with her career, has enabled Dee to develop and lead outreach activities and events for over 30 years. The passion to develop help for Homeless and under-served people has given her the determination to implement events from monthly Breakfast to the Streets, annual Rise and Shine Street Fairs, annual Christmas to the Streets Fair and multiple amazing VIP Banquets.

From Outreach Coordinator to the Homeless and working with Christians United for Israel, Dee has endeavored to keep the main focus of life to be following the call of Jesus to help people find and develop a personal relationship with Jesus and follow the call to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem….” ; loving whom Jesus loved.

Ted and Dee feel their most precious achievement is the blessing of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They enjoy watching them grow, learning to follow their core values, and developing hearts which turn toward God and compassionate service toward their fellowman.

Dee Burdine and Patricia Del Marmol are the outreach coordinators representing TWRW.  They are focusing on new and additional ways that TWRW can help the local communities and their needs.

Joe Del Marmol holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer. Joe is a member of the California State Bar and retired in 2021 after practicing law since 1997.  He previously was in law enforcement for 30 years serving 26 years with the California Highway Patrol and 4 years as an investigator with the California Department of Insurance Fraud Division.  He holds a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the California State University at Sonoma, and a Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School.  He served honorably in the United States Air Force Reserve and the United States Coast Guard Reserve.  He retired from his military service in 1991.  He and his wife Pat are members of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) and serve as legislative liaisons for their Congressional District.

Lena and John Rohrabaugh lead the World’s Rescue Workers Healing Hands Ministry.  They have over 60 years of combined healthcare experience with a focus on 911 service management, emergency response and healthcare education.  Their acts of volunteerism have included CPR training for faith-based entities, public education and non-profit programs, creation of a paramedic program in underserved rural area, financial support for disaster response and healthcare for resource limited regions.

Jim and Janet Eilering currently lead the Community Outreach Ministry for TWRW. They have been faithfully serving the homeless community in the Sacramento, California region for more than 20 years. For approximately 15 of those years, Jim and Janet served on the executive team that guided TWRW’s annual spring and fall homeless outreach events.

In early 2019, they stepped into the role of Community Outreach Coordinators. Until the pandemic paused large community gatherings, they oversaw TWRW’s two major annual events—the Rise and Shine Fair each spring and Christmas to the Streets each fall. During this time, they also focused on building and mentoring a dedicated team to help plan, support, and operate these initiatives.

For the last 3 years, Jim and Janet have helped support local organizations such as Sierra Pregnancy Center in Roseville, Destiny Christian School in Sacramento, and The Springstone School in Lafayette, California, by auctioning multiple days of sailing on San Francisco Bay on their sailboat in order to raise significant funds to support these individual organizations.

Janet currently serves with the Sacramento Valley Teen Challenge Women’s Auxiliary, a group that supports and encourages individuals who are progressing through either the men or women’s Teen Challenge program.

Jim is also deeply involved in the planning and forthcoming construction of what will become the newest Jewish Community Center in California, located in Folsom.
